FUN FACTS

When did you start dancing, and why?

I started dancing at the age of 9, which is when one can start a professional training program to become a professional dancer. I always loved dancing even when I was a kid and the freedom and imagination it came with it.

I had my first audition for a professional program when I was 9 and got accepted, the rest is history.

What inspires you to be a dance instructor?

That rewarding feeling of helping someone achieve their dreams and seeing them grow and achieve their goals little by little.

Why did you choose PEARLfect Dancers?

The opportunity to train people and help them reach their expectations and potential has always been a part of why I choose PEARLfect Dancers. I am truly excited about meeting everyone.

Where are you from?

I was born in Laredo, TX. But I like to say my true place is Mexico, since my whole family is from Mexico I was raised there my whole life and Spanish being my first language makes me even closer to my Latin American Roots. I can proudly say I am Mexican and I love my culture.

What do you do for fun?

I figure skate on ice and I like to crochet plushies in my free time.

Are you married? Do you have children? Tell us a little about them?

I got married in 2023 with someone I met dancing, and we have both been teaching and dancing together for a while now.

The only “child” we have right now is our cat Boba (I love boba tea, that’s why) and he is our furbaby. He is an orange long haired cat who just turned 1 year old this year. We adopted him from a shelter in 2024 and while he is quite playful, he is actually very timid and scared about everything. Thats why my husband names him “Chicken” most of the time. I don’t think he likes that, because my husband is always full of scratches and bites.
