PROFILE
Born in Mexico City, 1987. He began into dance at the age of 5 at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico dance workshops. INBA-UAM Prix Finalist in 1992 with the company En Dos Partes, with the piece XXY. Besides his work as a Dancer, is also formed as a Capoeira professor. Artistic Director of Compañía de Danza Nuevo Laredo. Soloist US International Ballet.

Leading role in Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker. Excerpts of Carmen and Don Quixote, and other ballets classical and neoclassical. Also Teacher of the Company and school, choreographer and rehearser of excerpts of Sleeping Beauty and Nutcracker.

FUN FACTS
When did you start dancing, and why?
I started at 5 years old doing contemporary dance. My brother was a dancer and for a piece he was working on the director asked for a kid and my brother said “I have a little brother!” I kept dancing since then
What inspires you to be a dance instructor?
My inspiration comes from my own teachers. I was very lucky to had amazing teachers and want to share all the knowledge I learned from them.

Where are you from?
I`m from Mexico City, Mexico. Been living in Austin for two years and I really love Texas.
What do you do for fun?
I love to play video games, playing with my cat, taking care of my plants and travel.
Just a little bit more about me.
I’m married to a wonderful woman. She is a dancer and a dance instructor as well, so we share a lot of our experiences. Our only child is our cat Boba.
